The Academy serves African American girls in grades 6-8 in the Twin Cities metro area. The Academy provides a forum where girls can develop positive self-esteem and improve academic, social and interpersonal skills. In addition, this forum provides an environment where girls are able to grow by building new circles of friendship and developing decision making and leadership skills
