Since 2021, the Minneapolis–St. Paul Alumnae Chapter has partnered with local organizations and subject-matter experts to host an annual Caregiving & Aging Forum. These forums provide valuable information, resources, and personal perspectives for individuals supporting aging family members and loved ones.
Topics over the years have included mental wellness and depression, identifying community supports for caregivers, culturally responsive caregiving resources, caregiver self-care strategies, coping with loss, and education on dementia, hospice care, and estate planning. Each forum also features a powerful personal story from a caregiver, offering insight and encouragement from lived experience. If you were unable to attend previous forums or would like to revisit the discussions you are encouraged to watch the available event playback recordings to learn from past speakers and access helpful caregiving information.

The Eldercare Locator is a federally funded national service that connects older adults and caregivers with trusted local resources across the United States. It helps individuals find services such as in-home assistance, transportation, meal programs, Medicare guidance, and long-term care support. The program functions as a comprehensive, nationwide connection point for aging services and can help caregivers identify programs that support aging in place within their local communities.
